About Nursery
Located less than a minute’s walk from Leytonstone Station, kGems Day Nursery Leytonstone offers high-quality childcare and early years education for children aged 0 to 5 years in a welcoming, purpose-built environment.
Designed with children’s development in mind, our nursery features dedicated spaces tailored to the different stages of early childhood. Each room provides a stimulating environment where children can explore, learn and grow through play, supported by our experienced and caring team.
Our enclosed, sheltered garden provides a safe and inviting outdoor space where children can enjoy fresh air, physical activities and opportunities to explore the natural world throughout the year.
From our thoughtfully designed learning spaces to our nurturing approach to childcare, every aspect of our Leytonstone nursery has been carefully considered to create a home away from home where children feel happy, confident and supported.

OUR ROOMS
Baby Room (0–2 years)
Our Baby Room offers a calm and nurturing space where little ones can explore and grow at their own pace. Through sensory experiences, songs, and gentle activities, we support the prime areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): Communication and Language, Physical Development, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development. Our experienced team provides warm, responsive care, building secure attachments and celebrating every milestone.
Toddler Room Preschool (2–5 years)
Our Toddler and Preschool Room provides a spacious, stimulating environment where children aged 2 to 5 years learn, play and grow together.
The room has been thoughtfully organised to accommodate different stages of development, with engaging activities and learning opportunities tailored to each child's age, interests and individual needs.
For our younger children, the focus is on developing independence, communication and social skills through creative play, sensory experiences and everyday routines. As children progress towards preschool age, activities increasingly support early literacy, mathematics, problem-solving and the skills needed for a confident transition to primary school.
Our experienced practitioners ensure that every child receives appropriate support and encouragement, creating a positive learning environment where children of different ages can thrive alongside one another.
Garden
Our Leytonstone nursery features a thoughtfully designed, enclosed garden where children can enjoy outdoor play, exploration and learning throughout the year.
One of the garden's key features is its partially covered area, providing a sheltered space where children can continue enjoying the outdoors whatever the weather. This allows us to make outdoor learning a regular part of each child's day, even when the British weather is less than ideal!
From physical activities and imaginative play to sensory experiences and opportunities to explore the natural world, our garden offers a stimulating environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and curiosity.
